The Warehouse System

Ongoing Warehouse is developed in close cooperation with logistics companies in the 3PL niche and their customers, and has been in actual service at a customer since 2007. As of October 2017 we have over 185 3PL-companies as customers in twelve countries. Approximately 3 000 goods owners' products run in the systems daily.

Since the product is a standard system, developed on an ongoing basis in line with customer requirements and preferences - all clients can thus benefit from the improved functionality that added is added continuously to the standard product. Ongoing Warehouse is a modern, web-based system developed on the standard platform Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. Ongoing is addressed to the logistics provider company whose mission is to store and handle products on behalf of clients, so-called third party logistics (3PL).

Benefits of using Ongoing Warehouse

Below are some of the reasons that make our clients appreciate both the system and Ongoing Warehouse as a supplier and WMS partner:

A competent WMS with great functions for the 3PL-industry. We only have one WMS product that we continuously develop and we only target the 3PL industry. That means that we are very focused and good at what we do (we believe it´s hard to be great at lots of WMS niches). The system has during the last 8 years and with more than 150 3PL-customers Internationally, become a great standard system with the functions that demanding 3PL companies require. Functions include Invoicing/Economy, Barcode Scanning / Mobile Units (both standard scanning and custom scanning), SOAP API and much more.

Great for satisfying your customers’ need for real-time information and develop existing customer relationshipsThe system is completely web-based which means that your customers (goods owners) can log in 24/7 via their web-browser and use the system to place orders, track orders, view inventory/stock, see statistics and much more.

The system is flexible and easy to use. The 3PL business requires a flexible WMS that quickly can cover different customers with different practices, processes and billing schedules, etc. Ongoing Warehouse does that. Thanks to a modern web-based system we (or the "Ongoing Super-user" at your company) can quickly do the changes and adjustments that you and your customer want.

Fast, easy and very cost efficient to start up the system. Why have long and expensive contracts, and then make long and costly deployments? We make it easy for new customers. We charge a monthly fee per user. This includes access rights, support / new versions and hosting. You can begin with using our system for only one client (goods owner). Get to know the system and start in a small scale - and then expand the number of users and clients at the pace you desire.

Easy to integrate with other systems. Our system has a well documented API (SOAP). We have created a developer website to support integrators who want to integrate their system with Ongoing's API. We have a developer website which gives instructions on how to get started, descriptions of the most common functions and tips and tricks when developing the integration. The developer page has the address We have also done a large number of integrations with complementing software such as ERP Systems, eCommerce platforms, Transportation and Logistics systems (see head menu "Integrations" for more info)

Web-based and Software As A Service (SaaS) means cost effective for Internationally. Our system is modern built and web-based (the system is operated through a standard Web browser). Users can easily run the system no matter where they are physically located. This means significant benefits for customers - not least for those who have their operations spread out geographically.

Standard system provides a long-term cost effective solution. Our customers' businesses differ, of course, but the basically needs in the 3PL business are rather similar. Our customers have the security that the product is constantly evolving and the fact that there are a large number of client companies who share these costs.

Software as a Service WMS-system

Ongoings has since the start back in 2008 been using the concept of Software as a Service (SaaS), a service delivered throught the "Cloud".
